Famous Monuments
Pathein city
Pathein is not far from Yangon. It is said that Buddha has come to this area on his way to spread out his religion. This small city is well now with its beautiful handmade umbrellas and endless white sand beaches.
TwanTway town
Tantway : closed to Yangon, take a ferry to across the Irrawady river and you arrive at Tantway. It’s not Yangon and yet two miles from the capital, Tantway brings you back to almost a century before.
Pyay city
Pyay was a big town in 4th century. A beautiful city on the large Irrawaddy river. Let’s your boat flowing with the wind and look at the right bank, you will see a long and natural wall of carved Buddha’s ! it’s beautiful !
South-east Myanmar
(Mawlawmyne and provinces) South Myanmar : this area is almost untouched by tourists. Simply too beautiful landscape!

Thinjian festival
It’s the New Year Day. As Cambodia, Thailand, Laos and a part of India, the water festival in April marks the New Year of Myanmar. Living with agriculture, people is waiting for the water and whishes a good blossom for crops and rice. Thinjian is the name of a kind of yellow flowers blossomed in this season. Every year when the town changes the color to yellow, the New Year is closed at hand.
Inle Lake
The water city or Inle lake city. From the lake, tourist can go further to other villages on the river to Inlein city or smaller villages to see the “real” Myanmar lives.
Mandalay City
Pagan City
Pagan is one of several old capitals of this country. It was built by the tenth century and has lasted for two centuries before moved to Mandalay.

Life in Yangon
Yangon was a recently former capital of Yangon (the new one is in Napyidaw in the center of the country decided by the government in 2005). Actually all economic activities are still here even the politic organization is deported in the new capital.
